I finally got my new First Order Stormtrooper helmet made by ANOVOS.
It’s a beautifully crafted helmet from ANOVOS’ new line of Star Wars prop replicas. It is from their Standard Line, which makes it a more “affordable” helmet compared to their other Premium line.
Personally, I really like the new design of the First Order Stormtroopers. I think that it looks like a natural evolution of the classical Stormtrooper, and I like the modern and sleeker look of their armor and helmet in particular.
The quality of the ANOVOS helmet is good. It feels quite nice, albeit a bit on the light side. The interior features an adjustable head-band that will fit pretty much all head-shapes and sizes. The helmet is easy to put on, but your ability too see is extremely hindered by the very dark lenses that are almost impossible to look through from the outside. This gives it a nice effect, however, making your eyes completely hidden inside the helmet.
The helmet looks great when paired with the classical Stormtrooper helmet. In my case, I have the eFX Precision Cast helmet, which is a great piece too. Both helmet are the cheaper variants of their respective companies, but as display pieces they do an excellent job.
