Sideshow Collectibles just announced something huge today. Literally. One of their upcoming statues will be a maquette featuring the epic Marvel brawl of all-time: Hulk vs Wolverine! All that has been shown so far is the image that you see above. However, Sideshow also revealed a “companion piece” in the form of a premium art print that will also be available. The statue seems to basically be based on this piece of artwork – or it might even be vice versa… Who knows! In any case, this will be an incredible statue, and I am really excited to see more of this. Hopefully, we will also be able to see it in all of its splendor at this year’s SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con).
Sideshow have really been active in announcing and showing off new upcoming pieces recently, and it really feels like they are warming up collectors for SDCC. So here’s to hoping for a show that will have lots and lots of reveals and new items on display.
